Benefits derived from the Choose Life license plate
In life, people often look for the benefits before they commit themselves to a course of action. The Choose Life Advisory Committee believes the Choose Life license plate brings about benefits for people in many diverse situations. 

Many women feel overwhelmed when facing an unplanned pregnancy. But there are safe places in Mississippi for these women to consider their options.  At Mississippi’s pregnancy resource centers, each woman is encouraged to continue her pregnancy and develop a parenting plan. Whether she chooses to parent her child or place her child in the loving arms of adoptive parents - our centers help her make a decision both she and her unborn child can live with.

By purchasing a Choose Life tag, you will be supporting pregnancy resource centers across Mississippi. They meet the physical, emotional and medical needs of women by providing free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and compassionate, sound advice about pregnancy.

Funds generated by Mississippi's "License to Live" specialty tag will assist these women with the expenses of a full term pregnancy—such as medical bills, temporary housing, transportation, utility bills, food, maternity clothing, and similar expenses of infants—until placed with an adoptive family. Each county will receive the revenues generated from within the county by sales of Mississippi's Choose Life specialty license plate. The Choose Life Advisory Committee will distribute the funds to qualified (see Choose Life Law) not-for-profit agencies within each county.

It is the intention of The Choose Life Advisory Committee that women recipients of financial assistance not be discriminated against because of race, color, religion, national origin, handicap or age.
